The U.S. Government Mandates That Federal Workers Be Vaccinated Against Covid-19 Within 75 Days

The U.S. "Capitol Hill" reported on September 9 local time that the U.S. government announced a six-part delta mutant strain control plan, which includes mandatory COVID-19 vaccination for all federal workers. While vaccinating federal workers is required, the U.S. government also encourages private companies to compulsorily require employees to be vaccinated.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psak said at a press conference that day that after Biden releases the vaccination plan, except for reasons such as disability or religious beliefs, federal staff will have to do so within 75 days. Comprehensive COVID-19 vaccination.

Psaki emphasized that 75 days are sufficient to complete the full vaccination of the COVID-19 vaccine. If federal workers fail to comply with the regulations, the government will pass standard human resources procedures to dismiss them and impose disciplinary sanctions.
