Israel Considers A Fourth Dose Of Vaccine

The French "Le Figaro" website reported on September 5 that although 2.5 million Israelis have been vaccinated with the third dose of COVID-19, the country is considering continuing its vaccination campaign.

Israel’s head of epidemic prevention and control Zarka called on the 4th to prepare for the fourth shot of the vaccine against the COVID-19 virus. He issued a warning on national radio: "The virus is there and will continue to exist, and we must also prepare for the fourth vaccination."

According to the "Times of Israel" website, the professor said: "Considering this and the weakening of vaccines and antibodies, it seems that we need to vaccinate again every few months."

According to reports, almost all cases of infection in Israel are caused by the delta mutant strain. The country has launched a third vaccination campaign in recent weeks, aimed at boosting the immune response of people who have been vaccinated for more than six months. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 2.5 million people have been vaccinated with this booster shot.
